WELCOME

Music to me is a divine gift.  It has the unique ability to comfort, inspire, encourage and instruct the human mind and spirit.  Melody and harmony reflect life itself and reveal the splendor and unity of all God's creation.  Song brings to mind rich emotions that together communicate at a much higher level than words alone.  It catapults us from being mere earth-bound creatures into the divine realm of the Godhead itself where peace, love and joy abound.

The songs recorded here reflect my life as a struggling saint.  Some God has given to encourage me and others in our walk with Him.  Other songs are invitations to those who have yet to know the Lord in a personal way.  And, more recently, the focus of my songs have turned to worship - that undertaking in which we will delight for all eternity.

“He put a new song in my mouth, a hymn of praise to
our God.  Many will see and fear and put their trust
in the Lord.”  Psalms 40:3

The Christian Music Ministry of
Daniel K. Garnett

Dan Garnett is a military retiree (USMC & USAF) who came to know the Lord while stationed with the USAF in Rimini, Italy in 1980. After retiring from the military in 1984 he felt led to train for Christian ministry. He graduated from Calvary Bible College in Kansas City, Missouri in 1988 as a Pastoral Studies major. With no apparent guidance from the Lord as to a Christian ministry, Dan began work with the US Civil Service.

In 1999 he resigned from Civil Service to take the position of Worship & Education Director at Zion Church in Worland, Wyoming. That was followed by being accepted as the pastor of a small church in Thompson Falls, Montana. He has now fully retired and is anticipating the next chapter of the book God is writing about his life.

Dan has been involved with music ever since singing the Ginger Bread Man with a mouth full of gingerbread when he was in kindergarten. To add to his voice he finally taught himself to play the guitar while in the Marines stationed in Guantanamo Bay, Cuba.

Since 1994 Dan has been writing his own Christian music and finally produced his first CD, Lovin’ Arms, in 1999. His music could be considered Country Gospel. Dan's concerts blend Country and Western songs with a Christian world-view and also focuses on the Christian's walk and worship. Dan has been married to his wife Nora for 44 years and has 5 children and 11 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.
